Welcome to Makom

In Jewish tradition, “Makom” means “Place,” and is also one of the sacred names for God: HaMakom, “The Place.” The ancient rabbis taught that God is not contained within the world, but rather the world exists within the Divine Presence. Makom speaks to the longing for a place where one can arrive honestly, heal deeply, wrestle with meaning, and remember who we truly are.

What is my life asking of me now?

Why do I feel spiritually restless?

How do I stay human in an increasingly technological world?

What part of me is trying to awaken?

What does it mean to live with more courage, depth, discipline, love, and soul?
